Chapter 5: Wants to sleep with you
Xie Yicheng entered the kitchen.
It seems that he cooks often, and there are plenty of ingredients in the refrigerator. He took out a handmade noodle, took an egg, washed the pot, and boiled water, and his movements were neat.
Xu Ruoning stood behind him and looked at him for a while. Seeing that the straps of his apron were tied neatly, she couldn't help but want to laugh.
Within ten minutes, the man came out with a bowl of noodles with two poached eggs lying on it.
The voice was flat: "Eat."
After he put the noodles on the dining table, he went back to the kitchen and started tidying up. He is not a clean freak, but he has obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Xu Ruoning sat down and took a bite with her chopsticks. She really hadn't had dinner, and she was really hungry.
I really want to... eat his cooked noodles again.
even if today is not her birthday.
Xie Yicheng came out after tidying up, and Xu Ruoning's bowl was empty; she looked at him contentedly, with a smile on her face and said, "Thank you, I'm full." The man came over, took away the bowls and chopsticks in front of her, and wiped them with a towel clean herself, and wiped the water on the table with a paper towel, then walked to the kitchen, put the dishes and chopsticks into the dishwasher, pressed the disinfection button, and finally pressed the cleaning button.
After doing this, he washed his hands, went back to his room, and never came out again.
Xu Ruoning lay on the sofa for a while. Seeing that he had no intention of coming out, she simply went into the bathroom and began to take a shower. She threw all her clothes on the floor, wrapped herself in a towel, and came out after taking a shower.
She knocked on Xie Yicheng's door.
After a while, the man opened the door and saw that she was only wearing a bath towel and that her hair was still dripping. He frowned, turned around, and took a towel from the room and wrapped it around her head.
Xu Ruoning chuckled, "I don't have any clothes; can you lend me one."
Her bath towel was not tightly covered at all, the man was much taller than her, and when she lowered her head, she could see the deep ditch.
Her skin is not very fair but has a healthy wheat color.
He still remembered that ten years ago, she had fair skin, long hair, and a heart-wrenching fragility in her rain-drenched brows and eyes.
"You still remember me." Xu Ruoning looked at him with a firm tone.
Xie Yicheng didn't say anything, but turned around and handed her a pair of cotton men's pajamas from the closet.
She took the pajamas, raised her eyes slightly, and smiled, "Will you open your door at night?"
Xie Yicheng looked indifferent and said in a cold voice, "I don't have time to play with you."
When Xu Ruoning returned to the room, she still didn't understand why Xie Yicheng was so angry.
During the years when she was a tour guide, she met at least tens of thousands of men. No matter how reserved and shy a man is, as long as she shows the slightest bit of interest in him, the other party will turn passive into active.
And obviously... the him of ten years ago clearly liked her.
However, ten years have passed, and she should not have made the hasty assumption that he is still interested in her; if he isn't, she shouldn't cook noodles for her.
Because the meaning of cooking noodles... is very important to her.
Xu Ruoning tossed and turned at night and couldn't sleep. Meeting Xie Yicheng again made her always be in a state of recalling the past, and most of the past memories were painful for her. She didn't want to think about them, but her thoughts were really something thats bothering her.
She came out of the room wrapped in a blanket and nestled on the sofa in the living room.
There were cigarettes and candy in the bag, but she didn't move for a long time.
She has been quitting smoking, but has been unable to quit.
At half past eleven in the evening, Xie Yicheng opened the door and went out to drink water.
He walked to the living room and saw Xu Ruoning on the sofa. She was curled up in a corner of the sofa, wrapped in a blanket.
The weather is very cold, and the living room is not heated. If she sleeps there overnight, she will definitely get sick tomorrow.
He frowned and stepped forward, leaning slightly, ready to carry her into the room. When his hand touched her shoulder, he heard Xu Ruoning speak.
"I don't want to play with you."
She poked her eyes out of the blanket, looked at his chin, and said, "I simply want to sleep with you."
