Chapter 1: Tap me
It was past ten o'clock when Xu Ruoning came out of the bar.
Normally, her nightlife should have just started, probably because she has just arrived in the United States, her jet lag has not reversed, and she is a little sleepy.
The explosive English songs make her eardrums buzz even more. She leaned against the crosswalk, lit a cigarette, and walked slowly down the street.
Passing by a coffee shop, she went in and asked for a cup of coffee. When she turned around, she saw a man sitting by the window.
The man was wearing a light gray formal suit and was looking down at the documents in his hand with his eyebrows raised slightly and the center of his eyebrows raised slightly. He put his left thumb against his chin, thought for a moment, and then raised his head to speak to the person in front of him.
From a distance, a face looks sparse and cold, but it appears gentlemanly and refined.
Probably aware of something, he suddenly turned his head to look over.
His eyes met Xu Ruoning's for only a second, or maybe even less, before he looked away.
Xu Ruoning squeezed the coffee in her hand, hesitated for a moment, and then walked out the door.
Her thoughts were a little dazed by the impact of the man's face, and she was stunned at the door for a while. After drinking a cup of coffee, she came in and bought another cup. She said, "Please."
Before the man could speak, the man sitting opposite him said, "Why don't you invite me? Miss sister, don't judge people by their appearance."
Xu Ruoning turned to look at him and said, "Sorry, I didn't notice you."
"..."
The atmosphere was quiet for half a second, and the man turned his head to the sky and let out a "fuck."
He caressed his heart and complained to the man opposite, "Xie Yicheng! As long as I'm with you, the girl's eyes won't see me!"
Xie Yicheng put down the document in his hand, picked up the overcoat next to him, and said, "The rest, you can handle it yourself; I'll go back first."
Peng Hui waved his hand and said, "Okay, okay, you go back to rest first and I'll call you tomorrow."
Xie Yicheng has already taken out his coat, but he hasn't taken Xu Ruoning's cup of coffee.
There was a driver waiting for him at the door of the coffee shop. When he saw him coming out, he stepped forward to open the car door for him.
The man paused, sat inside, and then turned his head to look at her.
The compartment lights were not turned on; half of his face was hidden in the dark, and she could only see his straight lips and clean chin.
Xu Ruoning smiled at him with her face up and asked, "Can you give me a ride?"
Xie Yicheng said, after a long time, "Address."
"Hilton Hotel." She added, "Room 3022."
The driver was ready to leave. Yes, after hearing the second sentence, he took a look at Xie Yicheng through the rearview mirror and asked, "Mr. Xie, can we stop by the Hilton Hotel?"
Xie Yicheng gave a low "hmm."
The car ride was quiet, no one spoke.
Xu Ruoning looked out the window for a while, then turned to look at the man. He appeared colder than she remembered, or maybe he was just... cold to her.
Ten minutes later, the car stopped in front of the Hilton Hotel.
Xu Ruoning opened the door and got out of the car. She closed the door very slowly, but the man didn't even look in her direction until she closed the door.
"Thank you." After she finished speaking, she slammed the car door with one hand.
The car passed away in front of her eyes.
Before getting on the elevator, Xu Ruoning stared at herself reflected on the metal door for a long time and said to herself suspiciously, "Didn't he recognize me?" She posted "Moments" when she got off the plane and went back to the hotel to connect to the Internet.
She just glanced at WeChat, and many American friends asked her out to play, and she replied one by one.
After working as a tour guide for so many years, she flies here and there every day, and there are friends everywhere, some of whom she can’t even remember their names. She formed a group and invited more than a dozen friends to have dinner together at noon tomorrow. After finalizing the time, she went to the bathroom.
That night, she tossed and turned.
She finally fell asleep, but still had a dream.
In the dream, the man pressed her down, kissed her tenderly, and coaxed her hoarsely when she heard her screaming for pain: "Please be gentle." She hugged him, She let out a childlike cry as he bit her on his shoulder and neck while he was slowly but steadily under the powerful impact.
The man stretched out his knuckles, wiped away the wet tears from the corners of her eyes, and bowed his head to kiss her again in her teary vision.
The wall lamp vaguely illuminated the man's clear facial features. His forehead was covered with blue veins, and his black eyes were restrained and restrained. They were exactly the same as the man I met at the coffee shop today
